A good survey and identification guide to photographic processes and types from all years. Can be used by beginners and more seasoned dealers.
The idiosyncratic organization of this book takes a bit of effort to get used to and the absence of an index makes that issue even more a problem. However, for anyone interested in understanding the technology of 19th and early 20th century photography this is a very practical tool. I would recommend it to genealogists and historians as well as the targeted audience, photograph collectors.
